Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph & Signature :

  1. Photograph Image:
    1. Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture.
    2. Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white, background.
    3. Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face
    4. If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows
    5. If you have to use flash, ensure there’s no “red-eye”
    6. If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
    7. Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
    8. Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
    9. Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb
    10. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50 kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning.
  2. Signature Image:
    1. The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
    2. The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
    3. The signature will be used to put on the Call Letter and wherever necessary.
    4. If the Applicant’s signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the Signature on the Call Letter, the applicant will be disqualified.
    5. Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
    6. Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb
    7. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20kb
    8. Scanning the photograph & signature:
    9. Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch)
    10. Set Color to True Color
    11. File Size as specified above
    12. Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/signature, then use the upload editor to crop the Image to the final size (as specified above).
    13. The image file should be JPG or JPEG format. An example file name is : image01.jpg or image01.jpeg Image dimensions can be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon.
    14. Candidates using MS Windows/MSOffice can easily obtain photo and signature in .jpeg format not exceeding  50kb & 20kb respectively by using MS Paint or MSOffice Picture Manager. Scanned photograph and signature in any format can be saved in .jpg format by using ‘Save As’ option in the File menu and size can be reduced below 50 kb (photograph) & 20 kb(signature) by using crop and then resize option (Please see point (i) & (ii) above for the pixel size) in the ‘Image’ menu. Similar options are available in other photo editor also.
    15. If the file size and format are not as prescribed, an error message will be displayed.
    16. While filling in the Online Application Form the candidate will be provided with a link to upload his/her photograph and signature.

  1. In case the face in the photograph or signature is unclear the candidate’s application may be rejected. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
  1. Eligibility Criteria is to be considered as per RRBs CWE-II Advertisement published in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar Issue dated 6th July – 12th July, 2013 released by IBPS and posted on the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in.
  2. However, for the Language Proficiency in case of Officer Scale I and Office Assistant (M), “The Assam Official Language Act, 1960” may be referred. Further, in case of Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer), the Bank shall give preference to candidates having exposure in credit
HOW TO APPLY :
  1. Candidates are required to apply online through Bank’s website www.agvbank.co.in between 01.02.2014 and 17.02.2014. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
  2. Candidates should ensure that their personal email ID (as specified in the online application form while applying for RRBs- CWE-II (CWE conducted in September/ October 2013) is kept active during the currency of a recruitment project. Bank may send call letters for Interview etc. to the registered e-mail ID.
  3. Candidates can Apply Online by visiting the Recruitment Link on the Bank’s website www.agvbank.co.in. All the fields in the online Application format should be filled up carefully.
  4. Please note that the above procedure is the only valid procedure for applying. No other mode of application or incomplete steps would be accepted and such applications would be rejected.
  5. The Application printout along with required copies of documents should be kept ready for submission if shortlisted for Interview.
  6. The applicant should sign and affix his/her photograph on such printout of application and keep the same ready for submission if selected for Interview along with copies of required documents mentioned below:
    1. Printout of the online application submitted.
    2. Printout of IBPS Scores for the stipulated examination.
    3. 10th standard examination Mark sheet in support of local language.
    4. Attested copy of School leaving certificate or any other document as proof of age acceptable to the Bank.
    5. Attested copies of Mark sheets / certificates in support of Educational Qualification;
    6. Attested copy of certificate of Computer Course, as applicable;
    7. Caste / PWD any other related certificate as applicable.
    8. Photo identity proof.
    9. Any other relevant document
